Meet Rev. Brian Lesemann

Rev. Brian Lesemann

Public Relations and Spiritual Oversight

Brian grew up in Southern Illinois receiving his elementary and junior high education at St. Peter’s Lutheran School in Prairietown, IL. The arrival of a new Junior High principal/teacher inspired him to become a teacher. After graduating from High School in 1979, he attended Central Methodist College where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Instrumental Music K-12.

Brian and his wife, Beth, met at college and went on to spend six years teaching together in Community R-6 schools in Laddonia, Missouri. However, after 4 years in teaching he decided to apply for admission to Concordia Seminary of St. Louis, Missouri and entered graduate school in 1989. Upon graduation, he was assigned to the congregations of St. John’s Lutheran of Bath, IL and Salem Lutheran of Chandlerville, IL.

He has enjoyed the many blessings of the ministry there for over 30 years. Brian particularly enjoys instructing youth about their faith in Jesus Christ and sees the involvement with a Lutheran School one of his greatest blessings. Brian has a special way of making people feel welcomed and valued through his love of Christ.

Brian’s hobbies include studying foreign languages, music, and classic cars. He enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Christian education to guide and nourish each child’s God-given purpose.
